Coven Magazine

The real queens of the mystical scene—they're here to school you in the fine art of b*tchcraft.

I’ve always wanted to create an in-world printing press to incite unrest in a D&D kingdom, and Coven Magazine has been my outlet. Using tabloid and Better Homes and Gardens as bases to ideate from, a little bit of photoshop and some creative copywriting makes sure that ensuring every cover is as caliente as a cauldron full of dragon's breath. Next step, follow through on the clickbait titles and create the articles themselves!

“While wizards are busy hoarding ingredients and peering into test tubes like it's a cooking show, witches are already out there, casting spells on the fly – incantations in an instant. Who needs to lug around a potion kit when you can whip up a hex in the blink of a cat's eye?”

“These aren't your grandma's tea parties; these are hex-casting, curse-flinging, nightmare-inducing fiestas. It's like having a secret menu at a magical Starbucks – only the baristas are ancient crones with a penchant for chaos and cardamom.”
